Brand Ambassador(Events Tabler)

Compensation: $23 per hour + $10 per Home Energy Assessment (HEA) performed; $15 per HEA performed once you surpass 150 completed HEA's. Commission potential averages $500 per week. Commission is uncapped!

Position Type: Full-time, hourly position eligible for overtime

Job Summary:

The Brand Ambassador is responsible for representing HomeWorks Energy and the CT Energize program at various events. This position involves assisting in planning, project management, and ensuring successful event execution, including setup and breakdown.

• Event Brand Representation:
  • Represent HomeWorks Energy and the CT Energize program at Connecticut events, engaging with attendees to promote products and services.
  • Set up and organize event displays in a manner that attracts and engages attendees, ensuring a visually appealing and professional presentation.
  • Efficiently dismantle display at the conclusion of each event, ensuring all materials are packed and transported safely and efficiently.
• Customer Engagement and Lead Generation:
  • Communicate effectively to educate and inform individuals about energy efficiency initiatives and available programs.
  • Schedule home energy assessments and heating and cooling appointments to support program objectives and goals.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Education & Experience:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Work Environment:

Indoor & Outdoor Environment: This position requires working both indoors and outdoors at retail and other designated locations (farmer's markets, town events). Weather conditions will vary based on the season.

Physical Demands:

• Requires walking to designated location, standing for long periods of time, as well as bending, crawling, and carrying and assembling equipment up to 60 lbs. for each event, and engaging with a large number of individuals.
• This job may require travel in a personal vehicle.
